How to Use the Canon EOS R10 Mirrorless Camera – Beginner’s Guide
1. Getting Started
- Unbox the Canon EOS R10 Mirrorless Camera.
- Ensure that the battery is charged. If not, use the Canon LC-E17 Charger to charge the Canon LP-E17 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack.
- Attach the ER-R10 Camera Strap to the camera for comfortable carrying.
- Remove the Battery Pack Cover and insert the fully charged battery into the camera.
- Attach the Canon R-F-5 Camera Cover to protect the lens when not in use.
- Turn on the camera by pressing the power button.
2. Basic Settings
- Press the Menu button to access the camera menu.
- Use the arrow buttons to navigate through the menu options.
- Adjust the settings according to your preferences, such as image quality, ISO, white balance, and exposure.
- Press the Set button or the Menu button to confirm your settings.
3. Taking Photos
- Compose your shot by looking through the viewfinder or using the Free-Angle Tilting Touchscreen LCD.
- Half-press the shutter button to activate the autofocus. The AF points will be displayed on the screen.
- Adjust the focus by moving the camera or using the touchscreen to select the desired focus area.
- Fully press the shutter button to capture the photo.
4. Recording Videos
- Switch the camera to video mode by turning the mode dial to the video icon.
- Press the red button to start recording. Press again to stop.
- Use the touchscreen or focus ring to adjust the focus while recording.
- Record videos in 4K resolution (2160p) for high-quality footage.
5. Additional Features
- Use the Viewfinder for a traditional shooting experience or the Tripod Mounting Thread to attach the camera to a tripod for stability.
- Take advantage of the wireless technology by connecting the camera to your smartphone or computer via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
